CHOCOLATE MAKING EVENT

This year's off season event will take place at Schakolad Chocolate Factory downtown Ann Arbor at 110 E. Washington (right next to Arbor Brewing Company) . Come join us for a night of chocolate making and wine tasting. Take home all the chocolate you make (if you don't eat them first) This event will take place Monday Jan 29th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The owner will be closing the store early just for us while we make and taste fine European chocolate. YUM!! Cost is $20.00 per person and space is limited. Please RSVP by Jan 15. See you there! BIG CHANGES FOR THE WEEKLY EMAIL

Changes are afoot for the weekly email. First off, after this week, it's going to be the Biweekly Email until next spring. With the slowdown in activity during the off-season, we're going to lighten up the load on your inbox by sending updates every other week rather than every week. Look for our messages to resume their weekly schedule sometime in March in anticipation of the 2007 season.

Secondly, I am stepping down as the editor and distributor of the Weekly Email. My duties will be taken over effective immediately by Kristin Schrader. Please send all your announcements, calendar items, and thanks to her at kristischrader@gmail.com by Wednesday morning at 9 AM with "weekly email" or "weekly news" in the subject line. As always, please direct general club questions, comments or suggestions to aarc-info@umich.edu, and to be removed from the aarc-active@umich.edu email list, please email Margaret at mlhudson17@gmail.com (you will not receive coxing emails, Weekly Emails, or any other club correspondence).

Yes, MCI prep is already under way! We need to evaluate last year's event and get ready to host this year's event to be held on July 21, 2007. If you're interested in putting in lots of hard work on this committee, please email Tricia Miranda by December 20th, tricia.miranda@gmail.com.
