GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING SUMMARY

Thanks to all who participated in the AARC General Membership held on November 29, 2006 there was a lot of information sharing and good discussion. Attached to this newsletter are the minutes and summary of the open forum/discussion for your review. The Board and those with leadership responsibilities will continue to incorporate feedback received into future planning and operations. One outcome of the meeting is to continue holding general membership meetings to help foster open communication and idea/information sharing. Look for 3 general membership meetings in 2007—at the start of the season, mid-season and at the end of the season. If you have suggestions and/or ideas on the format for the membership meetings please contact Michelle at mnrn67@comcast.net. Thanks again to all who came out—looking forward to another great season in 2007!

CHOCOLATE MAKING EVENT-RSVP!

Have you reserved yet? Did you see Helana Shull's fine invitation? This year's off season event will take place at Schakolad Chocolate Factory downtown Ann Arbor at 110 E. Washington (right next to Arbor Brewing Company) . Come join us for a night of chocolate making and wine tasting. Take home all the chocolate you make (if you don't eat them first) This event will take place Monday Jan 29th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The owner will be closing the store early just for us while we make and taste fine European chocolate. YUM!! Cost is $20.00 per person and space is limited. Please RSVP by Jan 15. See you there!
