LAST CHANCE TO TAKE THE SURVEY!

WINTER ERGING

The regular winter erging schedule is back in effect.

CHOCOLATE MAKING EVENT-RSVP!

This year's off season event will take place at Schakolad Chocolate Factory downtown Ann Arbor at 110 E. Washington (right next to Arbor Brewing Company) . Come join us for a night of chocolate making and wine tasting. Take home all the chocolate you make (if you don't eat them first) This event will take place Monday Jan 29th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The owner will be closing the store early just for us while we make and taste fine European chocolate. YUM!! Cost is $20.00 per person and space is limited. Please RSVP by Jan 15. See you there! YOGA FOR ROWERS-DID YOU REGISTER?

A yoga for rowers session is starting January 6, 2007. This class runs from 8:30 am to 9:45 am on Saturday mornings. This session comprises 9 sessions and is being lead by Christy DeBurton, who is familiar with the kind of flexibility and strength one needs to row. Cost of the class is $90 if you register by Saturday 12/23/06 or $100 after that. Christy said she is going by first come first serve basis, and space is limited. Several of us have taken Christy's classes for a while now and find them challenging, peaceful and flexibility enhancing, in mind, body, and spirit. Josh Baker owns the Outfitter in Harbor Springs and has a new Alden Carbon Star single rec shell, plus a set of Dreher hatchet blades that he would like to sell. The shell and blades are normally about $4500, and Josh would sell them for 20% off. He is also willing to deliver them to Ann Arbor. AARC JANUARY BOARD MEETING

The January AARC board meeting will be on Tuesday, January 9 at 6:30 PM, in the DTE Community Room, 425 Main St. Please notify either me ( tricia.miranda@gmail.com ) or Margaret ( mlhudson17@gmail.com) if you would like to attend and if you have an item that you would like to place on the agenda. A tentative agenda is attached for your review. If you are coming for only a portion of the meeting, please check with Margaret on Monday or Tuesday in case there are any time changes to the agenda so you don't miss anything!
