CLUB PICNIC & ANNUAL MEETING

Please join Ann Arbor Rowing Club for our picnic and annual meeting from noon - 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26 at Delhi Metropark, 3902 E. Delhi in Ann Arbor. For directions visit: www.metroparks.com/parks/pk_delhi.php

The day will be filled with fun activities including volleyball, frisbee, croquet, bocce ball, baseball, socialization and more so bring out whatever sports equipment you have and join in the fun. The club picnic will also feature a "State of the Club" address and members will have an opportunity to vote on new board members for the club. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. The club will provide the usual fare - burgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, some beverages, as well as a few desserts, and members are asked to please bring a side dish to share including chips, salads, dips or whatever else you can dream up. Beer and wine are permitted in the park. Please be mindful that each car will be charged a $4 fee by the metro park to enter the park.

Family and friends are encouraged and welcome to attend. We hope to see everyone there.

AARC BOARD ELECTIONS THIS WEEKEND

The board elections will be held this Saturday, August 26th at the AARC Annual Meeting & BBQ at Delhi Park. All AARC members (including PBOs) can vote. If you can't make it to the BBQ, you can vote absentee via email. More details and information about the candidates will be sent later today -- watch your email!
