ICE SKATING SOCIAL
Happy New Year everyone! This year the Ann Arbor Rowing Club has decided to implement social programming to give everyone an opportunity to stay connected no matter what the season and also provide a chance to intermingle with rowers from our various programs. To kick things off, we will have our first social event of 2006 at the Yost Ice Arena, 1000 S. State Street on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Rowers, family and friends are all encouraged to participate in the fun. The event will take place from 2-3:50 p.m. Sunday, Jan 15. The cost of admission is $5 for adults, $4 for U of M staff and faculty and $3 for students, youth and seniors. The cost to rent skates is $2. Credit cards are not an acceptable form of payment. In other business the social committee is seeking ideas from members about the types of activities that you'd like to engage in throughout the season with your teammates outside of rowing. The current plan is to host an event every other month with your thoughts in mind. YOGA FOR ROWERS UPDATE
Thanks for all of the interest in 'Yoga for Rowers'. We're off to a great start!
