Argo is waiting!

 

AARC membership runs from April 1 to March 31 yearly.  Current membership fee for the year is $55.  Additional fees are assessed for sweep rowing and sculling.  Members have the opportunity to pay for the entire rowing seaon in April, or can pay on a monthly basis throughout the season.   Monthly fees are assessed by the calendar month, with no pro-rating of fees due to absences/vacations, etc.  

All AARC members participating in rowing programs need to pass a SWIM TEST.  Further information can be found here  Swim Test

 

AARC Membership entitles you to:

 

·        Vote at AARC elections

 

 

 

·        Receive AARC’s electronic newsletter: “Weekly Catch”

 

 

 

·        Attend monthly Board of Director meetings

 

 

 

·        Participate in AARC social events including monthly Boathouse barbeques and attend the End of Year Banquet

 

 

 

·        Participate in AARC’s coached rowing programs, including sweep, scull & winter training  (additional fees required)

 

 

 

·        Access to a large fleet of shells including 8+, 4+, 4x, 2+/-, singles (additional fees and/or rules may apply)

 

 

 

·        Participate in the MCI regatta

 

 

 

·        Race under the AARC colors at regional regattas

 

 

 

 

AARC Member Expectations

 

To preserve the above benefits and keep rowing vital in the Ann Arbor community, AARC requires that all members share responsibility for safety and for stewardship of our member-operated club.

 

 This includes:

 

·        Signed waiver for participation

 

 

 

·        Following and upholding all Club Rules

 

 

 

·        Following and upholding safety requirements at all times, including the reporting of  issues and concerns

 

 

 

·        Timely payment of rowing fees

 

 

 

·        Participation in AARC Stewardship Program, designed to spread the club’s essential work among all members.
