The Youth Competitive Rowing Program is a 6 week program planned for the high school rower with previous high school rowing experience, who desires a more intensive training plan designed to maintain an excellent fitness level, refine their rowing skills, and provide for a higher level of competition. Experienced coxswains are eligible to participate in the Competitive rowing program to further develop their skills.
Attendance
All athletes are expected to attend all practices for the duration of the program, except in the case of significant illness or injury. Due to the more intensive program and regatta preparation, vacation and other planned absences will not be allowed for rowers in this program. We have scheduled this program to allow a week of family vacation either before the program starts or after the program ends. No rowing will occur Monday July 5th in observance of the July 4th holiday, allowing families to have a long weekend.
